Zoom Math Grapher
See and hear mathematics in a new way. Mathematics makes my job easier so I want to see how all the formulas look in a graph. The Y axis contains the range of numbers on the screen. The X Axis shows the history of the numbers and in the background you can see the formula and result. There is a plot point in the graph of what each X/Y result is. A line is drawn between each point. The sound ticks every second and it actually uses the plot points to make up the sound. The plot points are a percentage for each plot point it will play 1/20th of a second and multiply that part by 440Hz. So you'll hear the sound go up if it goes up, or down if it goes down. I can't wait until the fancy formulas when they go up and down.
Colour By The Numbers (Part 1)
This is a playlist of all videos to demonstrate the different aspects of colours. It is all based on the "Colour". The single integer used to represent a colour. Calculated from (blue * 65536)+(green * 256)+red. Hex/HTML is the Colour as Hex. 0123456789ABCDEF, then the next number is 10, all the way to 1F. Last 2 digits are red, middle two are green and first 2 are blue. Simple Hue is something I've made up. A hue is 360 degrees of a circle on what colour it is, kind of like a colour spectrum then reversed. Simple Hue's I need something simpler so I can tell the difference between two parts of a picture. 0 is black and white, then each colour aspect is split in to to 2. Hue 1 is red, Hue 2 is red and a little bit of green etc. Saturation is how saturated the colour is. The more colour the higher the percentage. This is calculated by looking at the percentage difference between the different aspects of a colour. Pure red is 100% but a red that is quite light will have less contrast. Light is how light a colour is. Similar to saturation in calculation but a lot different in reasoning. This is how high all parts of the colour are that are present. So the purest red will be 100% light but a dark red will be a lot lower. Red should be obvious. Percentage is amount / 255. Green and Blue are similar. Cyan, Magenta and Yellow are different. These colours are made up of combining blue/green for Cyan, red/blue for Magenta and, red/green for Yellow. The percentage is the two aspects multiplied. To get the value it is multiplied by 255.
Colour By The Numbers (Part 2)
Continuation of Colour By The Numbers series.
