Playlists

Pure Tone Cover Songs

The absolute favorite video series of this channel. It features traditional songs played through our first synthesizer version using pure tone sounds.

Oddonomous Electronic Music

Our second music series, featuring music played through a sound synthesizer. The music rotates around the screen and speakers.

Resonance Remedies

Resonance Remedies plays music ranging from 5 to 55 beats per minute. Each week focuses on a theme, using theorized frequencies designed to align with that week's topic.

Guitar Music

Our first Quanta Sound instrument: a synthesized guitar played on a fretboard. A personal favorite, though it was discontinued due to low popularity.

Modern Pure Tone Music

This playlist features modern music played through our unique sound synthesizer.

Quanta Beats

Quanta Beats features music with different instruments and compositions each week. The instruments generate sound in completely random ways. 'Quanta' refers to the sound production mechanics, from tension to fade-out.

Audio Redux

We take music from old, defunct games and other sources and play it through our unique synthesizer.

Bump Music

Bump Music is a popular experimental video series featuring instruments represented as balls bouncing around the screen. When a ball hits an edge, it plays a sound determined by its position.

Bygone Tunes

We take old public domain music (pre-1930) and play it through our unique synthesizer.

Millisecond Music

Millisecond featured music playing notes every 1 to 16 milliseconds—extremely fast. However, since some notes could not produce sound within such short intervals, this series was discontinued.

Theme Songs

Theme songs from defunct games, movies, and shows, played through our sound synthesizer as pure tones.

Pure Electronic Music

Our third version of electronic music, utilizing pure tones. This series moves away from our earlier electronic music that mixed various sound components.

Bass This!

This music contains no instruments playing above 120 Hertz, focusing exclusively on bass.

Health Music

Health Music focuses on a specific subject each week, playing only theorized sound frequencies associated with it. Descriptions of each color and frequency vibrate on screen as they play.

3,600 BPM

Music played at 3,600 beats per minute. This is the fastest synchronized video possible at 60 frames per second.

Speaking Journey

Speech was absent from our synthesizer for a year due to its complexity. This playlist documents our journey in implementing speech within the software.

Sound Effects

Videos featuring basic sound effect techniques.

Percussion This!

Percussion This! featured 5 synthetic percussion instruments circling the screen and speakers while playing.

One Offs

Standalone sound videos.

Health Balls

Health Balls was our first video series to play theorized health frequencies based on a topic. Balls chime around the screen in surround sound, accompanied by an information screen explaining the sound frequency and color.

Spectra Soundz

Spectra Soundz plays music using a special instrument that combines two Quanta Beat instruments in each speaker simultaneously. 'Spectra' plays on the word 'spectrum,' as each song utilizes the full frequency spectrum. It also evokes 'spectral,' alluding to the eerie sound often associated with this series.

Harmonic Ascent

This experimental series plays music starting at 30 beats per minute and slowly increasing to 938 beats per minute.

1171 BPM Music

Music played at 1171 beats per minute.

Sound Tests

Sound tests performed during the implementation of our first sound system. From day one, the system utilized surround sound, generating noise based on object location on the screen.

Oddonomy Music

Our inaugural music series.

Posh Carol Reads

An attempt at designing a character to read song lyrics. I tried to make her sound posh for humor, but the concept didn't catch on.

Electric Covers

This short-lived series featured modern covers played with odd instruments. The sound was strange—perhaps too strange to continue.
